Cyber security is becoming more important in the digital age, more than ever before. Only late last month was the corporate monolith that is Facebook, hacked, leaving over 50 million users exposed because of the security breach. This underlines the importance of security in our modern society.
Naturally, Innovify takes security very seriously. This is why we took the necessary steps to ensure that every aspect of the business was secure from all forms of security threats that the modern-age throws in our direction. This is also why we chose to be Cyber Essentials Accredited.
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme that helps companies, small-to-large, protect themselves from a whole range of cyber attacks, whilst also demonstrating their commitment to cyber security. The body was formed in 2014 and it has seen a dramatic rise in cyber attacks since its launch.
The body states that “Cyber attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. They’re the digital equivalent of a thief trying your front door to see if it’s unlocked. Our advice is designed to prevent these attacks.”
